This game is a prototype.

We are creating more models and animations for the characters, but we are looking for your feedback on the gameplay loop.

Do you enjoy this clicker based game?

Would you like to see more options be added?

If you have any ideas let us know so we can try new things.

The modeling for the humans are nice but the cat and wolf seem to have some uncannyness to them. The animations are nice for a prototype but for myself there was a weird stutter if I didn't change animations as soon as possible that made the loading of the next one lag. The gameplay is...there? Like there is a progression but for actual input from the player, there really isn't anything outside of what some have called a scene viewer. Not sure where the 'clicker' genre would go from this and honestly if it IS just swapping animations, maybe a different genre to try and put what has been worked on with.

For me the question is, where do you want to go with this? You say “clicker based game”, though currently it feels like clicking through a gallery.

How does the progression look like? Are the women part of our group and they need to please men to get to the next stage / level? (-> upgrade each female character, more xp per second) Are the women the “enemy” and they need to be pleased so we can progress to the next stage / level? (-> upgrade the player)

What about climax scenes? In clicker heroes for example every 5th stage is a boss stage, in which you have to defeat the boss within a given time limit. Maybe every few stages could be the “climax stage”. For example with your characters:

  • Stage 1 - Human Blowjob
  • Stage 2 - Human Titfuck
  • Stage 3 - Human Missionary
  • Stage 4 (with time limit) - Human Doggystyle (on success -> climax scene)

Stages can be used to farm xp and level up, so if you fail on a stage with a time limit, you need to grind a few levels and upgrade.

Or if a time limit sounds not fun, maybe the battle could be based on pleasure (dmg) and stamina (hp). So, more like a battle.

The UI would need to support selecting different stages.

What might be fun, if clicking would influence the animation speed, the more you click the faster the animation. If you don’t click and have automation upgrades, the animation moves at slow or normal speed.

A potential issue with a clicker game; they usually have a lot of stages and / or upgrades, in which case it would be good to recycle the characters and color swap them, otherwise there will be a bunch of asset creation involved.

OR, this might be also a nice way to interpret “clicker based game”… What if it is a point ‘n’ click adventure? Going through different screens, collecting items and interacting with them, solving puzzles and meeting different characters.
It could be like Rusty Lake Hotel, but rather than murdering the characters, you try to sleep with them. Might be worth looking into.

For some inspiration, there are some clicker games on Nutaku, Hentai Clicker, Chick Empire, Fap CEO just to name a few. Might be good to try some and see what you like and dislike about other clicker games.

I had some time to think about it and put the different puzzle pieces into place.
Here is my pitch:

We start with a small worn down brothel, it has currently one room and one woman (Human). Further rooms and women need to be bought with (in-game) money.

Possible upgrades:

  • the rooms
    • unlock more rooms
    • unlock themes (Human -> tavern, Cat -> jungle, Wolf -> tundra / cave, etc.)
  • the women
    • unlock more women (Cat, Wolf, Elf?, Fox?, Harpy?, Mermaid?, Lamia?, etc.)
    • unlock outfits (Human -> dirndl, Cat -> loincloth, etc.)
    • unlock make up or skins (change color of hair, eyes, clothes, etc.)
    • unlock positions (titfuck, blowjob, missionary, doggystyle, etc.)
    • level up (higher level -> better at work -> higher money/minute)
  • the player (brothel manager)
    • upgrade brothel (overall look, advertisement, etc.) -> more customers
    • upgrade clicks (progress a scene quicker)
    • unlock auto-click (passively speed up scenes in all rooms)

The levels of a woman can lock other features for later, for example: Human level 5 can unlock position titfuck for 500 money and at level 20 the outfit for 10000. Unlocking the first position of a woman should activate auto-clicking for her room. (till then, the player has to click, for customers to finish.)

Unlocking themes for rooms could level up the brothel itself, making it a more prestigious place, increasing your money/minute. The brothel level can lock / unlock brothel upgrades.

The player would be the manager of the brothel, which means there should be a few different looking men for the scenes to represent the customers. (Maybe other species as well: Cat, Wolf, etc.)

Regarding the scenes. The player can peek into the rooms, spying on the women with the customers, or, if a woman is currently free, can have a go themselves. Climax scene included.

So the game play loop would look something like this:

  • buy a room and woman
  • click that room to level the woman and gain money
  • upgrade the woman for auto-clicking her room
  • (get enough money to repeat the loop with the next woman)
  • get all positions, unlock the room theme and outfit, enjoy your woman

This would be my suggestion for the game play, please change it or disregard it as you see fit. If you like skill trees there is probably a way to add them, want to tell a story, can be added as well, but I hope this can give a good start to try things out. :)

Gotta be honest, really don't like the cat girl. Something about it is just weird and uncanny

(-1)

Is there any future plans for POV angles?

I believe it is just and fair to start the wolf  positions with doggystyle.

I can get behind the idea of a clicker game.  its not much now but the scenes are good

The animations are good, and I like the style of the model work, but I think the larger issue is the actual gameplay. What are we getting out of this? It's hot, don't get me wrong. But this is more of a slideshow of animation work than it is a game. I'll sing praise for the animation, but cannot call it a game if there is no goal or even a win/lose condition.

I've seen and thought highly of Barely Working, and if you plan on adding more systems. Great, but I think the amount of talent you are displaying here is wasted on an ero clicker game. Where the main goal is to just advance your carpal tunnel and jork it.

If you want to make this, it's pretty to look at. Needs a better UI, but it's serviceable. I just think that brothel games lend themselves well to management style games, where you have to manage resources and workers. But you guys have shown talent at making games, with interesting blends of genre and gameplay in like Barely Working. I know with your heads and copious amounts of resources together, you can make something much better.

I recommend something that allows you to choose how the character develops in a stat tree of lewd stuff that you get points for through the level-ups. Allowing you to upgrade body parts or the actions the character can do. Maybe even outfits or something of that nature. Make it so that you have to meet certain story or monetary goals to unlock new girls to add to the roster. Let me fix up and upgrade a brothel I have to pay for, so the money the girls are making isn't disappearing into the aether.

Not sure where you are going with "clicker". The prototype is of course a prototype. But I fail to see the typical clicker elements. It feels more like those casual facebook games where you collect rewards every cooldown. The reward being 7.5 exp and switching animation.

The current summary of clicker on Itch is

A style of game where the player must click on something to earn points, which they spend on upgrades to increase the number of points they earn per click, or to increase the number of points they earn over a period of time without clicking.

Which hints at these two genres

Incremental

A game that has some of or all of the mechanics: Limited interaction or the ability to be played without interaction, rapid growth - often exponential, prestige mechanic(s), An end goal/mission or a general goal of getting a higher amount of currency, and a system of buying and upgrading buildings, units, or similar.

Idle

Focusing on automation and minimal player interaction, idle games let you watch progress unfold over time. Players often engage in occasional interactions like upgrades to influence growth rates or efficiencies, while the game typically accumulates resources autonomously.

And with a few exceptions, all "clicker" games I know are incremental idle games. With some clicking at the beginning or in burst phases, like while logging in each day.

In your prototype you cannot actually do the genre name giver. There is a cooldown on the buttons. Also no progression speed up due to player's choices.

A standard clicker genre type adult game with brothel fantasy scenario would be a bit like this:

Fluff story about how you would want to generate as much lust as possible to ressurrect the Lust Goddess. Therefore you operate your godsend brothel and hire yourself out or whomever and start making money and lust. At first very hard and manual by ... clicking. Queue the animation of the mc. I think that's the Queeny model. With enough money you can buy upgrades, hire more girls that need no clicking, have more rooms, learn more positions, bring in exotic customers and whatnot. All with an escalating amount of income to spend on even more upgrades. Until you hit a wall, because it would not take minutes for the next upgrade, but hours or days. At which point your best choice would be to start over. And do better. Much better, because your lust points give you favor from the Goddess and upgrades you cannot buy otherwise. Rinse, repeat. Bonus points if the restart is justified within the fluff.

Well, the premise of Cookie Clicker was to bake cookies. Lots of them. I am not even sure there was a reason for it. Maybe to feed those monsters or appease Santa and distract the cats.

Fluff and graphics are not that important for a clicker. It sure helps, but clicker fans will not stay for the view, but to overcome the mechanics.

There can of course be variations, minigames and other changes to spice up the genre.

I've always liked it when there's interaction, good rewards, and an offline mode.

Clickers I feel like are an untapped genre. There is a lot you can do with it, like have it so you can explore a world and unlock girls and kinda have a prestige system through that method. Or have it so you unlock different upgrades and character changes. Overall, it seems kinda cool but the one thing with clickers is they need a LOT of content to really keep any type of long-term interest. So, I would say 100% way more would have to be added, cleaned up, and improved upon before people really started looking to play it continuously.

an untapped genre

You did that on purpose, didn't ya ;-)

they need a LOT of content to really keep any type of long-term interest

I am not sure what you mean with content.

I did play things like Cookie Clicker and Clicker Heroes. And those games do not have content in the way Queen's Brothel has content.

Clickers live from their optimisation mechanics. Eye candy does of course not hurt and some alibi fluff. But game mechanics are core. Queens's Brothel on the other hand is basically a kinetic visual novel with some illusion of choice. But it is just telling a linear story. No player input needed. Besides literally clicking. In that regard, clicker games are less clickery than many other games. They do have more grinding though. Lots of it.
