Discontinued
Hi everyone. Braindance did not pan out as we expected and it is in our best interest to discontinue development and spend our resources on something else.
According to player behavior, Braindance does not seem as fun and as exciting as our other games. It did not "stick" with the players as much as Queen's Brothel and Barely Working did. We had very very good marketing for Braindance, millions of views on TikTok and still the fanbase for Braindance is very small. For comparison, when we had millions of views on TikTok for Queen's Brothel, we had massive long-term growth.
I hope everyone understands. It feels wrong to push a game's development, if you are not seeing good results. Sorry to the fans who were expecting more.
Before we go, there is one final update. We have added sex scenes and music to the game. Enjoy!

Damn, that's really sad news. The game felt like a breathe of fresh air to me among all those million copy paste "trainer incest koikatsu" crappy games we have these days...
It really makes me sad when potentially good games don't get enough support. Good luck to you guys...
Well, it's valuable experience. Also for others, I was thinking of making an erotic beatemup myself so seeing what works and what doesn't in Braindance can be useful for my own game.

It is a shame this ended as it felt like it could have had a lot of potential and the art style was good. I feel like most of your games feel like they start quite bare bones but end up being really great (like barely working so far). Oh well keep up the good work :)
That's not surprising that you didn't see much from it. One update then abandoned. So far I've only seen this on itch.io and its only popped up 3 times. Release, Color update, Discontinued. Although the only encounter was enjoyable. It was 10 mins of game play then done. I was just waiting for more content. From my side it seamed Barely Working was more complete on its release then this was. And it received way more updates. Each post brought me back to check it out.
Weather it be a story mode or just a chain of bad guys. Just anything to do. Introduce 2 more girls and 5 new guys, they don't even have to be different combat style just recolor them and maybe a change the hair. Let the player pick one of 3 girls then send the groups of 1-3 bads at them for 3 mins. Then send the boss you already have like Streets of Rage or River City Girls. Or put all 9 characters in a grid and do 1v1 through the hole line up like the old Tekken

It was fun while lasted and the concept is still good. Who knows what the future holds?
Damn... Oh well, it was still a pretty good game idea. Hopefully one day you can pick it up again or put a different spin on it that's successful.
